Serge Attukwei Clottey is a Ghanaian artist who works in the fields of installations, performance, photography, and sculpture. He established Ghana’s GoLokal performing ensemble.
Serge was born in 1985 in Accra and began showing his work in 2003. He received his education at Accra’s Ghanatta College of Art and Design. He subsequently relocated to Brazil to attend Escola Guignard.
He has shown in several countries and is well-known for his Afrogallonism, which he describes as “an artistic idea to investigate the link between the prominence of the yellow oil gallons in terms of consumption and necessity in the life of the modern African.”
