Claudia Cowan is an American on-air personality who currently works as a news correspondent for FOX News Channel in New York. She has worked with the station since 1998. Claudia formerly worked as a morning and lunchtime newscaster at KOVR-TV13 in Sacramento.
Cowan began her journalism career with KTTV-TV, a FOX affiliate station in Los Angeles. She began her career at the station as a messenger before being promoted to reporter. She then left the station and moved to Monterey, California, to work as a desk assistant for KMST-TV.
Claudia was promoted to reporter, anchor, and ultimately co-anchor of the Saturday evening news after working diligently at that post for some time. Claudia worked as a producer and editor at the station while she was still there. She eventually relocated to Sacramento, where she worked for KOVR-TV13 for seven years.
On weekdays, she hosted the morning and noon newscasts. She accepted a job offer in San Francisco in 1995, when she was employed as an evening news anchor at KRON-4. She left KRON-4 three years later to join Fox News Channel.
